James Roger 'Jim' Dobbins

James Roger “Jim” Dobbins, 85, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his home.    

Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia (Turner) Dobbins; two sons, Charles Conathan (Kristi) Dobbins and John Christopher (Jessica) Dobbins; five grandchildren, Nickolas, Braden, Rebecca, Granger and Emma; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Dobbins; and a sister, Karen Dempsey.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.  

A memorial service and celebration of Mr. Dobbins’ life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 4 p.m. at the Chester Friends Meeting.  A time of fellowship will immediately follow in the church basement.  

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are encouraged by the family and may be made to the Chester Friends Meeting, 3451 Gurneyville Rd., Wilmington, Ohio 45177 or the Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
