Herbert Levi 'Junior' Baker

Herbert Levi “Junior” Baker, 58, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, June 16, 2024.
He was born Feb. 19, 1966 in Hillsboro, the son of Herbert Levi Baker Sr. and Barbara S. (Scott) Baker.
"He fought the good fight, he finished the race and he kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7).
He is survived by his wife, Suzann Baker; his parents; sister, Kathy Baker; brothers, Mike (Sherri) and Jason (Leah); sons, Levi Baker and Ty (Bethany) Baker; daughter, Megan (Adam) Parker; stepchildren, Steven Soale, Alec (Gail) Ruden, Norma (Axel) Parks, Lacie (Dustin) Stollings and Carrie Weaver; 12 grandchildren; five nephews; six nieces; three great-nieces and nephews; and numerous special cousins.
He was preceded in death by both fraternal and maternal grandparents; his daughter, Mahaylee Baker (1992); and numerous aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
