Glendon B. Kegley

Glendon B. "Glen" Kegley, age 70, of Riverside died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born May 30, 1939 in New Foundland, Ky., the son of the late Marvin C. and Virginia R. Farley Kegley.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was the owner and operator of Kegley Painting in the Dayton area, and was a trustee at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church for many years.  He is survived by his wife, Judith Marchert Kegley, whom he married April 26, 1980, in Charleston Falls; two sisters, Patricia Kitchen of Riverside, and Sheila R. (Charles) Dick of Summerfield, Fla.; one brother, W. Farrell (Miriam) Whitt of Lady Lake, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends from Dayton, Hillsboro, and the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church.  Services were Sept. 15 at the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church, with Brother Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial followed in the Prospect Cemetery where the Highland County Honor Guard accorded Military Honors.  Memorials may be made to the ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221 Columbus, Ohio  43220.  The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
