Gary Lynn McConnaughey

Gary Lynn McConnaughey, 62, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024 at the Greenfield Skilled Nursing Facility.  
 
He was born Jan. 23, 1962 in Greenfield, the son of Jerry Dane and Sandra Lee (Smith) McConnaughey.
 
He is survived by his son, Joshua Daniel (Jacquelynn) McConnaughey of Greenfield; one brother, Timothy Lee McConnaughey of Greenfield; two nieces, Christina (Dusty) Gordon of Washington C.H. and Jennifer Dawn McConnaughey of Sarasota, Fla.; one aunt, Dede Dreher of Greenfield; cousins, Debbie (Don) Harvey of Greenfield, Stan (Leslie) Storts of Greenfield and Steve (Joyce) Storts of Lynchburg; sister-in-law, Robin Munro of Washington C.H.; and good friends, Eddie (Linda) Justice of Greenfield, Michelle (Michael) Munyon of Washington C.H. and Traci (Matt) Powell of Otway.
 
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark McConnaughey; one niece, Ashley May McConnaughey; and both parents.
 
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
