Gary Lee Simmons

Gary Lee Simmons, 44, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Berger Hospital, Circleville. 

He was born Sept. 5, 1980 in Athens, a son of the late James Lee and Pamela Sue Walters Simmons.
 
Gary is survived by his cousins, Sheri (Spencer) Cochenour of Frankfort, Terri (David) Dowler of Frankfort, Adam Dowler of Chillicothe and Tommy Dowler of Frankfort; and one aunt, Phyllis Caplinger of Chillicothe. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Todd Simmons; his paternal grandparents, Lee Simmons and Dorothy (Bob) Anderson; maternal grandparents, Phillip (Eunice) Walters; aunt and uncle, Bill and Carol Thompson; and cousins, Scott Caplinger and Kathy Caplinger Lemaster.
 
Gary was a graduate of Loften High School, Gainesville, Fla.
 
In keeping with Gary’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the family's discretion. Special thanks to the staff of Copper Knoll, Washington Court House for all the loving care he received.

The Ebright Funeral Home is serving the family.
