Gary Lee Rooker, 67, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 at home.
 
He was born March 25, 1957 in Chillicothe, the son of Troy and Gladys (Shoemaker) Rooker.   
 
Gary was a 1975 graduate of Paint Valley High School. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Ohio Husky Muskie Club.
 
He was formerly employed at Bumpus Trucking of Washington C.H.
 
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Speelman) Rooker, whom he married on March 31, 2001; two sons, Shaun (Christain) Rooker of Wilmington and Todd Rooker of Leesburg; one daughter, Glenna Cooper of Kentucky; nine grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Breanna Rooker, who lived with Gary and Brenda; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.          
 
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Whitney Neeley; three brothers, Tom, Charles and Randy Rooker; one sister, Barbara Hess; and both parents.
 
Services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Cremation will follow.
 
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
