Eileen Mullikin-Carson
Eileen Mullikin-Carson, 80, of South Salem, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 at home.
She was born Jan. 26, 1943 in Leesburg, the daughter of George E. and Harriett Alice (Miller) Hamilton.
Eileen was a 1961 graduate of Fairfield High School.
She retired from Candle-lite of Leesburg after 42 years of employment.
She is survived by her husband, Marion “Max” Carson; two sons, Thomas “Bird” Mullikin of South Salem and James (Karen) Mullikin of Bainbridge; three grandchildren, Amanda Mullikin of Lynchburg, Zack Mullikin of W.Va. and Brittany (Will) Anding of Florida; two great-grandchildren, Starla and Thomas Matz; one sister, Mary Smith of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Mullikin, on March 15, 1997; four sisters, Jane Ralph, Kate Strain, Dorothy Hamilton and Ginny Adams; one brother, Ed Hamilton; and both parents.
Graveside service will be at the convenience of the family at Hardins Creek Bridges Cemetery of Leesburg with Pastor Jeff Barnhart officiating.
There will not be a visitation observed.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
