Edith I. Secrest

Edith I. Secrest, 80, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2024 at the Continental Manor in Blanchester.  
 
She was born April 20, 1943 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Ernest Ray Hottinger and Cora Cornelia Morris Hottinger.
 
Surviving are her daughter, Beverly Jordan, and son, Donald R. Secrest, both of Wilmington; granddaughter, Rachel Dawn (Christopher) Duncan of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Braeden Duncan and Brooklyn Duncan; and brothers, John, Paul and Floyd Hottinger.
 
In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Delano Secrest; sister, Emily Jenkins; and a brother, Bill Hottinger.
 
Services will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at noon at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home with Pastor Mike McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Sabina Cemetery.
 
Friends will be received Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at noon at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
