Earl "Butch" Wise, 61, of Miamisburg, Ohio, formerly of the Greenfield and Hillsboro area, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at his home.
He was born January 11, 1948 in Highland County, Ohio, the son of the late George A. Wise and Pearl (Rowe) Wise.
He is survived by two brothers, Charles (Lee Ann) Wise of Rainsboro and Robert (Edda) Woolard of Augusta, Georgia; three sisters, Georgianna Souders of Miamisburg, Mary Ann Pitzer of Hillsboro, and Betty Tommasino of Gastonia, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Woolard, and three brothers-in-law, Wendell Pitzer, Roger Souders, and Bob Tommasino.
Services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Dennis Brewer officiating. Burial was held at the Gilboa Cemetery in New Petersburg. A visitation was held from 9–11 a.m. Saturday, September 26.
