Dorothy M. Vititoe, 87, passed away Dec. 29, 2024.

Dorothy knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother and a beautiful soul who will be missed dearly. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, sewing and mostly spending time with her family and beloved dog, Angel.

Although gone, Dorothy will live in her family's hearts forever.

She is survived by her children, Barbara DeLong and Donald Vititoe; granddaughters, Tammy Dennis and Joyce Wolford; great-grandchildren, Shyla Hart, Jesse Hart, Natasha Woods and Cody Woods; and great-great-grandchildren, Nia Synder and Carter Hart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman “Doc” and Mary Shelton; along with many siblings; and her son, David Vititoe.

Per her wishes, family and friends will celebrate the life she lived and not mourn her death. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. To honor her memory please donate to a local charity in her name.
