Dorothy Hiestand

Dorothy Hiestand, 88, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2024.

She was born Sept. 9, 1936 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Monroe and Della (Swayne) Hamilton.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Donnie and John Hiestand, both of Hillsboro; daughters, Sharon Mays of Hillsboro, Patty (Tony) Burden of Hillsboro and Cheryl (Greg) Jones of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Michelle (Doug) Shannon, Stephanie Jones and Danielle Burden; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Maggie Shannon.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hiestand, on Nov. 5, 2022.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
