Donna Marie Copas
Donna Marie Copas, 87, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Monday, April 1, 2024.
She was born May 16, 1936, in New Boston.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Donna was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she met. She had a kind heart and was always there to help her family or anyone in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, word search puzzles and working with her flowers in the summertime. Her family meant the world to her, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her four children, Pamela Blevins of Florida, Jesse (Kathy) Copas of Maineville, Carl Copas of Hillsboro and Rick (Ola) Copas of Bainbridge; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a half-sister.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Copas, on Sept. 29, 2002; a son-in-law, Lacy Blevins; her mother and stepfather, Irene and Earl Miller; her foster parents, Albert and Frances Younker; a brother, Franklin Griffith; four half-brothers; and one half-sister.
Celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in the Mount Joy Cemetery next to her husband. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
