Donna Mackus

Donna Mackus, 70, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  
 
She was born Sept. 25, 1953 in Mariemont, the daughter of the late Frank Willard and Mary Kay (Scarberry) Bailey.  

In 1970 at Rowland Heights, Calif., she married Doug Mackus, the love of her life. He passed away in 2013.

Donna loved watching TV game shows and singing competitions.
 
Surviving are her daughter, Teresa Mackus of Hillsboro; son, Israel Mackus of Hillsboro; sister, Opal Foxx; two brothers-in-law, Fred Lipke and John Neidich; and several nieces and a nephew.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by three sisters, Lora (Steve) Morello, Carol Lipke and Debbie Neidich; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Foxx.
 
No services will be held. Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
 
Contributions in Donna's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
