Donna Louise (Miner) Curry

Donna Louise (Miner) Curry, 95, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
 
She was born Aug. 23, 1927, near Roxabell, Ohio, the daughter of Harold Hilen and Thelma Louise (Peairs) Miner.
 
Donna graduated from Buckskin Valley High School as the class valedictorian on May 22, 1945, which was also the day she married Robert Burns Curry.
 
She retired from the Ross County auditor’s office as a deputy auditor in March of 1988 with nearly 30 years of service.
 
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Lee (Byron) Winchell of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Amanda Megan (Jason) Jones of Grove City, Adam Brendan Winchell of Los Angeles, Calif. and Kendra Louise (William) Barnes of Frankfort; one great-granddaughter, Lily Louise Barnes of Frankfort; and several cousins.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 30, 2003; one son, Kenneth Robert Curry on Sept. 18, 2022; her mother on March 7, 1972; father on May 12, 1983; mother-in-law, Murl Curry on Oct. 3, 1975; and father-in-law, Harry Curry on Sept. 14, 1964.
 
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 4, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current officiating. Burial will follow at the South Salem Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at the funeral home.
