Donald Allen Lewis

Donald Allen Lewis, 62, of Lynchburg passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 at the VITAS In-Patient Hospice Center in Cincinnati. 

He was born Nov. 28, 1961 in Wilmington, the son of the late Virgil and Joan Lewis (Baumgardner). 

Donald worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Ted Roush in Lynchburg for many years. Donald had many talents, including mechanics, horticulture, care giving and being an avid pet lover. 

He is survived by his wife, Marian Lewis (Roush), whom he married on Sept. 23, 1995; two children, Elizabeth (Rubert) Littler of Goshen and Adam Perry of Lynchburg; one sister, Cheryl Storer of Hillsboro; and an aunt, June (Glen) Stratton of Hillsboro. 

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Olive Church of Christ, 10021 Mad River Road, New Vienna, Ohio 45159 or St. Jude Cancer Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
