Dianna J. Knisley

Dianna J. Knisley, 75, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. 

She was born April 15, 1948 in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Gerald and Juanita McCabe Kirsch. 

Dianna had worked at Collins Packing Co. and Micro Warehouse in Wilmington. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. At Christmas time, Dianna always was the best Santa Claus to her grandchildren. She loved eating out and her favorite eating place was Road House Steak House. Dianna spent her leisure time watching movies and listening to Jimmy Swaggert.  

She married Joseph Charles Knisley on May 23, 2012, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 2017.

She is survived by four children, Kim (Jerry) Allen of Greenfield, Dion (Kathy) Poole of Lyndon, Dwayne Poole and Angel Northrup both of Greenfield; nine grandchildren, Chasitity Penwell, Brandon Poole, Josh Poole, Bradley Brunner, Jerry “BJ” Allen, III, Kelsey Lynn Nicole Allen, Jackie Harmon, Gabbie Oiler and Jaelyn Northrup; and 11 great-grandchildren. Dianna is also survived by her half-sister, Sandy; her brother, Robert “Bob’ Kirsch of Greenfield; and her half-brother, Frank Washburn of Greenfield. 

She was preceded in death by grandparents who raised her, Gabe and Chloe Kirsch;, her stepmother, Virginia “Ginny” Kirsch; her half-sister; Allie; half-brothers;, Jeff and Denny Kirsch; and a special sister-in-law, Cathy Kirsch. 

Services be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield, with Pastor Roger Newkirk officiating. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest in Greenfield Cemetery. Family and friends will gather on Monday for a time of visitation at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m.
