Diana Lynn (Matthews) Woods

Diana Lynn (Matthews) Woods, 71, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
 
She was born on March 30, 1953, in Greenfield, the daughter of Charles and Helen (VanDyke) Matthews.
 
She was a 1971 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and formerly attended the Fruitdale United Methodist Church. 
 
She was a retired nurse’s aide and had been employed at several different nursing homes.
 
She is survived by her son, Brandon Forsha of Greenfield; one stepdaughter, Amber Woods of Washington C.H.; eight grandchildren, Bonnie Redden, Katie Walker, Lindsey Washburn, Austin Forsha, Harley Forsha, Aiden Holycross, Kimberly Woods and Arianna Woods; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Jones of Greenfield; two brothers, David Matthews of Greenfield and Stephen Matthews of Leesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Dean Forsha; and both parents.
 
Cremation will take place and there will not be a service observed.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
