Diana Lynn Leath, 63, of Lynchburg, passed away Oct. 5, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born Jan. 22, 1961 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Albert and Sadie Cheesman Willard.

Diana loved to work in her flower garden and enjoyed decorating her house, getting it just the way she liked. She also loved her dogs. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She worked as a manager for St Vincent DePaul.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Joe Leath; children, Brandy (Jeremy) Roberts of Winchester, James Ashcraft of Lynchburg, Krista Ashcraft of Wilmington and Latashia (John) Hoskin of Eastgate; five grandchildren, Kayla (Nicholas) Spies, Shelby Morris, Eli Morris, Zack Roberts and Zane Roberts; one grandchild on the way, Gwendolyn; sisters, Kimmy Willard and Abby; and brothers-in-law, Rocky Leath and Rod Leath.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Burial will follow at Harwood Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made in Diana’s name to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, D.C. 20090-6929.
