Deborah Kay “Debbie” Alvey, 55 of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 13, 2024 at her home.  

She was born July 25, 1968 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Jerry Dean and Judy (Devena) Leber.  

Debbie had worked as a teller at several local banks, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Del Alvey, whom she married on April 22, 2000 in Hillsboro. She is also survived by children, Megan (Winn) Allan, Christopher Alvey, Alyssa Leber, Corey Schultz, Tyler Alvey and Kayla Alvey; eight grandchildren, Scar, Adair, Peyton, Ashton, Preston, Brixtyn, Walker and Beau; and a brother, Dean Leber. 

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
