Deborah “Debbie” K. Setty

Deborah “Debbie” K. Setty, 69, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Highland District Hospital surrounded by her family after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer. 

She was born March 3, 1955 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth Blair Cox.

Debbie loved all children and her family dearly. She loved to play bingo. Debbie also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Setty; infant son, Samuel Setty; granddaughter, Harper Setty; brother, Pete Cox; and brother-in-law, Daryl Ahrmann. 

Debbie is survived by her children, Shane (Stacey) Setty of Leesburg, Mike (Lori) Setty of Latham, Steve (Katie) Setty of Blanchester and Stacy Setty of Leesburg; grandchildren, Shania (Logan), Austin (Tessa), Kylie, Chloe and Michael; siblings, Diana Combs, Donna (Dave) McCalla, Doris Cox, Cindy (John) Hamm and Sue (Bobby Barns) Ahrmann; close friend, Rita Hobble; and loved by many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, July 19 with services to follow at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, she will be cremated following the services.
