Dawn Olivia McCathrin

Dawn Olivia McCathrin, 81, of Galloway, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 at Darby Glenn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hilliard.
 
She was born Oct. 14, 1942 in Dayton, the daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Evelyn (Cokonougher) Staats.
 
Dawn was a retired registered nurse.
 
She is survived by her sister, Karen (Charles) Hazlett of Columbus; one nephew, J.K. (Mizuho) Morgan of Grove City; one niece, Kirsten Morgan of Columbus; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Staats; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Terry Washburn officiating. Cremation will follow, and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in the South Salem Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
