David Crone

David Crone, 58, of the Mowrystown community, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his home.  

He was born Sept. 13, 1964 in Grove City, the son of Carl A. and Doris Jean (Parks) Crone.
 
David sold transmission parts for many years in the area. He was baptized at Elevation Church in Blanchester. David loved to fish and be outdoors. He was a very funny and loving man, who enjoyed spending time with his family.
 
Surviving are his wife, Mona Crone, whom he married June 18, 1991; two daughters, Ashley Crone of Mowrystown and Jodelle (Hank) Dean of Fayetteville; grandson, Austin Mintz; granddaughter, Larkin Dean; mother, Doris Crone of Lynchburg; two brothers, Arthur (Amy) Crone and Clayton Crone; sister, Melissa (Brian) Martin; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
 
David was preceded in death by his father, Carl A. Crone; and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Jean Owens.
 
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Mowrystown Cemetery, Fenwick Road, Mowrystown, with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating.
 
Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown is serving the family.
