David Allen Rhoads

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of David Allen Rhoads, a beloved son, brother and friend. 

David was born July 6, 1983 in Hillsboro, the son of Billy Joe Sr. and Kathy Ann (Russell) Rhoads of the Belfast community.

David was a proud graduate of Whiteoak High School.

David departed unexpectedly with pneumonia from this world on April 12, 2024. 

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Billy Joe Rhoads, Jr.; and sister, Geneva Pearl Rhoads; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends. His memory will forever be held dear in the hearts of his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Junior Rhoads.

A gathering of family and friends to honor and celebrate David's life will be held at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro on April 18 from 2-4 p.m. This will be a time for all who knew David to come together, share stories and pay their respects. Inurnment of cremains will be in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
