Danny L. Griffith

Danny L. Griffith, 74, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 at the Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.

He was born Sept. 24, 1949 in Hillsboro, the son of Anna Fender Griffith of Lynchburg and the late Richard L. Griffith.

Danny had retired from Airborne Express after over 20 years of service and also worked as a carpenter in the home construction business. He was a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion, Cindy Griffith; one daughter, Kim (Jason) Lay of Wilmington; one son, Jason (Joanna) Griffith of Leesburg; three stepdaughters, Carrie Lynn and Bernie (Kenneth) Reeder of Franklin and Tina Miller of Xenia; five grandchildren, Adam Lay, Megan (Kevin Asbrook) Lay, Natalie Lay, Mikayla Griffith and Madison Griffith; one sister, Donna Jean (Jim) Julliard of Maineville; and two brothers, Kenneth (Susan) Griffith of Lebanon and Robert (Joyce) Griffith of Lynchburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Harwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
