Cody Elijah Scott
Cody Elijah Scott, 48, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 20, 1976 in Washington C.H., the son of Douglas R. “Ric” and Elaine (Adams) Scott.
He was a 1995 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and enjoyed motorcycling, hiking, kayaking, creating art, playing music, and spending time with family. He organized Horsepower for Hospice for 10 years.
He was employed at Advanced Hydraulics and Hoses of Greenfield.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Lynn (Cook) Scott, whom he married on Nov. 28, 1997; one daughter, Morgan (Cody) Strange of Cincinnati; two sons, Noah Scott of Greenfield and Deagon Scott of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Sterling Strange, Waylon Strange, Alex Turner, Bexley Curry and Oaklinn Pinkerton; five sisters, Lanna (Jim) Daugherty, Katrina Stratton, Sha (Steve) King, Eliza (Jacob) Pearce-Dietrich and Shira (Tim) Dowling; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kim and Chester Cook; and brother-in-law, Bryan Cook.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Danna Lee; grandmother, Martha Gregg; and both parents.
A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jay Fabin officiating.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
