Clinton Gene Siniff
Clinton Gene Siniff, 86, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born July 29, 1937 in Kenton, the son of the late Dorothy G. Winters and his stepfather, Howard Ted Winters.
Gene was a 1956 graduate of Fairfield High School in Leesburg. He was a hard worker and retired after working 39 years as a lineman for GTE in Wilmington. He was a member for 64 years and past Master of the F&AM Lodge 78 in Leesburg. Gene enjoyed serving his community, and he retired from the Leesburg Fire Department as Fire Chief. He enjoyed boating on the Ohio River, antique tractors and showing off his T-Bird at car shows, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Gene is survived by two sons, Howard Wayne Siniff of Washington Court House and William Keith Siniff of Dunedin, Fla.; granddaughter, Ashley (T.J.) Huelsman of Centerville; grandson, Aaron (Sarah) Siniff of Fairborn; and three great-grandchildren, Audrey Huelsman, Grant Huelsman and Anna Siniff.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Sue Siniff, on Aug. 21, 2021; and daughter-in-law, Sheri Siniff.
Family graveside services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
