Clara Fay Page, 85, passed away July 7, 2024.
She was born Oct. 2, 1938, in Grayson, Ky., Jacob and Nora Fields.
She was a beloved mother to her children, Lowell (Judy) Page, James (Tressa) Page, Carl Page, Libby Young and CJ (Cole) Thornton; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Clara was known for her dedication to her family and her work in the factory industry. Clara was actively involved in the AmVets Ladies Auxiliary, where she found joy in serving her community and supporting fellow veterans. She was a pillar of strength and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.
As the family mourns Clara's passing, they will remember her fondly for her unwavering love and commitment. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all those who were touched by her generous spirit.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Nora Fields; husband, Lowell Page; a daughter, Marlene Carter; a grandson, Will Carter; a granddaughter, Crystal June Page-Hamm; a great-granddaughter, Brookelyn Young Fraley; and a son-in-law, Steve Carter.
Services will be noon Friday, July 12 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Union Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon Friday at the funeral home.
