Christopher H. Wren

Christopher H. Wren, 82, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at his home with his family by his side.  
 
He was born Dec. 24, 1943 in Galion, the son of the late Harold W. Wren and Linnie I. VanMeter Wren.

Chris was a master woodworker and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
 
Surviving are his wife, Clara Rose Wren, whom he married Nov. 24, 1962; son, Craig (Cheri) Wren, daughter, Maggie (Larry) Elrod, son, Doug (Christy) Wren, and daughter, Traci (Chuck) Faddis; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Patricia) Wren and Roger (Nancy) Wren; son-in-law, Andy Knope; and many nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Wren; a daughter, Staci Jo Knope; and a granddaughter, Sarah Michelle Wren.
 
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24 in the Roades Cemetery, Rainsboro. 

The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
 
Contributions in Christopher's memory may be made to the National Church Residence Hospice, Chillicothe.
