Christine Dwelly, 94, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Legacy of Hillsboro.  

She was born April 6, 1929 in Kentucky, the daughter of the late John and Willie Keaton (Williams) Fryman.  

She retired from the Highland District Hospital after many years of service as head of the Housekeeping Department.  

Christine is survived by a daughter, Teresa Chaney of Lynchburg; a son, Larry (Suzanne) Dwelly of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Tim (Lorrie) Chaney, Brian (Paula) Chaney, Allen (Janna) Chaney and Kimberly (John) Cooper, all of Lynchburg; 10 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and one to be born in September; two great-great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Lewis Fryman of Kentucky; and special friend, Linda Chaney of Lynchburg.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, Acel, William and Junior; and four sisters, Mary Bell, Gertrude, Della and Lucy.  

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mount Orab, Ohio 45154.
