Charles H. Faul Jr.

Charles H. Faul Jr., 81, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his home in Lynchburg.  
 
He was born Sept. 16, 1943 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Charles Henry Faul Sr. and Edith Mae Ausman Faul.
 
He was a member of Allensburg Church of Christ and the Soul Seekers Class at Church, where a special grandson, Kaedyn, would drive him. Charlie loved going to car shows and was a member of the Highland County Rods.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Rayson; a son, Richard (Pam) Faul; stepdaughter, Diana Thomas; stepson, Vince (Amy McCrory) Thomas; grandchildren, Josh Snell, Shanon Rayson, Jerrika Rayson, Demetri Thomas and Lou Thomas; great-grandchildren, Diavian Snell, Joshua Snell, Kenyin Cole, Kaedyn Cole, Kierra Cole, Kyliee Cole and Harper Harris; a great-great-grandson, Connor Taylor; stepgreat-grandchildren, Coleman, Maddox, Colbie, Hunter, Schuler, Kaytlyn, Spencer and Henry; two brothers, James (Rita) Faul and John (Debbie) Faul; and several nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Joan Faul; son, Michael Allen Faul; great-grandson, Darrell "D.J." Cole; and three brothers, Melvin "Bud" Faul, Wayne Faul and Robert Faul.
 
Services will be held at Allensburg Church of Christ, Friday, June 13 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bob Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received at the church on Friday, June 13 from 1-2 p.m.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
