Charles C. Campbell

Charles C. Campbell, 75, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2024 at Highland District Hospital. 

He was born June 25, 1949 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Dewey and Ethel (Routt) Campbell. 

He retired from Jerry Haag Motors in Hillsboro after 24 years of service. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, René (Pierce) Campbell, whom he married Feb. 3, 1968 in Buford; two sons, Shane (Jandy) Campbell of Mount Orab and Shawn (Hope) Campbell of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Courtney (Brandon) Ulrich, Brittany Campbell, Brandy (Joe) Lawson, Logan Campbell, Alyssa Campbell, Bethany Storts, Dylan Campbell and Whitney Carnes; several great-grandchildren; four siblings, Dewey (June) Campbell of Carlisle, Ky., Durain Hurd, David Campbell of Mount Orab and Gayle (Rudy) Diskete of Buford; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Izzy. 

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
