Carolina R. Everhart

Carolina R. Everhart, 81, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at her home. 

She was born May 28, 1943 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Elbert and Geneva Hitt Grose. 

On Feb. 17, 1971, she married Donald R. Everhart, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2018.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Sumner of Millsboro, Del. and Mark Mootispaw of Greenfield; two stepdaughters, Pamette Clark of Sabina and Ronda Turner of Washington C.H.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert “Jasper” Grose of Greenfield; one niece, Vicki Holt of South Salem; and a sister-in-law, Buelah Mootispaw of Naples, Fla.  

Carolina was preceded in death by one son, Dennis E. Mootispaw. 

A graveside service for Carolina will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 in the Greenfield Cemetery. Michelle Foster will officiate. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Donald. Carolina’s family will be honoring her directions that no calling hours be held.
