Carol Anne (Sexton) Engle

Carol Anne (Sexton) Engle, 69, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. 

She was born Dec. 18, 1954 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Elbert and Neva (Winkle) Sexton. 

Carol was an avid reader and tennis watcher and loved her Chinese Crested dogs, Spike, Minnie and Buddy. 

She is survived by a nephew, Robbie Sexton of Hillsboro, and sister-in-law, Jo Ann Sexton of Hillsboro. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Sexton; infant niece, Tamara Sue Sexton; and grandparents, Evertt and Ruth Sexton. 

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in the Hamer Township Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a local animal adoption or rescue group in Carol’s name.
