Carol Ann Haynie, 55, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly April 27, 2023 at her home.

Carol was born on July 27, 1967 in Greenfield, the daughter of Robert and Florence (Wisecup) Haynie.

Carol was a baptized member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived most of her life in Chillicothe, but returned to the Hillsboro area a few years ago. Carol loved her family, and she will be greatly missed.

Carol is survived by her mother, Florence Haynie of Greenfield; three sisters, Donna (Rick) Staub of Hillsboro, Linda (Jerry) Daugherty of Greenfield and Rosemary Haynie of Greenfield; three brothers, Robert A. Haynie of Hillsboro, Gary W. Haynie of Greenfield and Michael Chopin of Greenfield; special extended family, Bill and Shana Folsom; her canine companion, Lucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Haynie; three brothers, David W. Haynie, Robert W. Haynie and Ivan Donald Haynie; and her lifelong companion, John “Red” Folsom.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 at the funeral home.
