Cameron Lee Boatman

Cameron Lee Boatman, 19, of Peebles, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. 

He was born Nov. 21, 2004 in Hillsboro, the son of Krystal Boatman and Charles Pinkerton. 

Cameron was a 2022 graduate of Peebles High School, where he enjoyed playing football. His passion was detailing vehicles and learning to become a mechanic. He was always kind and caring to everyone he met, and he loved spending time with his family, friends and his fiancée, Tamara. 

He will be greatly missed. 

Cameron is survived by his mother, Krystal (Justin Varney) Boatman of Otway; father, Charles (Jessica) Pinkerton of Peebles; fiancée, Tamara Holbrook of Peebles; siblings, Cauner Boatman, Tessa Boatman, Kayla Hall, Espy Pinkerton, Merrit Pinkerton, Samson Pinkerton, and Grayson Boatman; paternal grandmother, Linda Pinkerton; aunt, Sheila Pinkerton; uncle, Jacob Pinkerton, and many friends.  

Cameron was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Deborah Gilmore; and paternal grandfather, Donald Pinkerton. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Celebration of Cameron’s life will begin following visitation Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Cameron’s name to the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 127, Hillsboro 45133. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
