Brian D. Bashore

Brian D. Bashore, 54, of Wilmington, died Saturday, July 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born Oct. 1, 1969, in Wilmington, the son of the late Bobby and Janet Surface Plymire Bashore.

Brian loved building wooden things for other people, reading books, watching rodeos, listening to old country music and about anything that Clint Eastwood played in, but most of all, Brian loved his children.

He is survived by his three children, Garrett (Amber) Bashore, Gracelyn Bashore and Bailey Bashore, all of Sevierville, Tenn.; one brother, Dan (Nikki) Bashore of Columbus, one sister, Connie (Steve) Bashore of Wilmington; three nieces, Alyssa and Aubrey Bashore and Kendra (Rodney) Thompson; one nephew, Aidan Bashore; and two great-nephews, Remington and Matthew.

There will be no service or visitation. Cremation will take place. The Turner Funeral Homes and Crematory is serving the family.
