Brenda Arledge

Brenda Arledge, 82, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Legacy of Hillsboro. 

She was born Sept. 21, 1941 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Kenneth Bell Sr. and Nanny (Barker) Bell.

Brenda was a member of former member of the Hillsboro Eagles #1161.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Clay Arledge; daughter, Rhonda (Gary) Hollon of Hillsboro; son, Timmy Lutes of Ervin, Ky.; four grandchildren, Michael (Samantha) Hollon, Daniel (Tara) Hollon, Kyle Hollon and Belinda Davidson; five great-grandchildren, Preston Hollon, Brody Hollon, Jaydan Hollon, Rylee Hollon and Zane Hollon; four brothers, Henry Bell, Benny Mequire, Owen Bell and Desi Bell; three sisters, Mary Juanita Grafman, Rosalie Turner and Denise Dunnivant; special cousin, Terry (Dave) Chain; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her three sisters: Avia Vierling, Shirley Thomas and Mildred; and a brother, Kenneth Bell Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, with Pastor Richard Burns officiating.

Friends will be received Thursday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the services.

Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro has been entrusted with arrangements.

Contributions in Brenda's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
