Billy M. Dennis

Billy M. Dennis, 66, of Chillicothe, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Pickering House Hospice, Lancaster. 

He was born June 16, 1957 in Pickaway County, a son of the late Donald “Bill” and Geraldine Mace Dennis. 

Billy married the former Betty J. Free on June 21, 1975.
 
Billy was a 1975 graduate of Westfall High School. He retired as a construction contractor with AKM Building Systems.  

He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Billy R. (Jennifer) Dennis of Ashville; one daughter, Samantha (Scott) Brady of Williamsport; five grandchildren, Skylar (Caitlin), Kylee, Kyle, Jacob and Steven; three great-grandchildren, Nolan, Audrey and Bentley; two sisters, Lynn (Bill) Rea of Rainsboro and Cindy Dennis and Ed of Clarksburg; and one brother, Byron (Sandy) Dennis of Clarksburg. Billy is also survived by his beloved buddy, his dog, Frank. 
  
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Pastor Dan Bennett will officiate the service. Following the service, his urn will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery. 

Billy and his family are so appreciative of the loving care he received at the Pickering House.
