Betty Elaine Walker, 96 of Lynchburg, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 at Salyer’s Adult Group Home.

She was born July 30, 1928 in Lynchburg, the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Wilkin) Campbell.

She was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Zane (Vickie) Walker of Hillsboro and Steve (Cathy) Walker of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Kyle (Stephanie) Walker and Kevin Walker, both of Lynchburg, Erin (fiancé Craig McCallum) Walker of Reddick, Fla. and Emily Walker of Columbus; one great-grandchild, Cowen Walker; a sister, June Hostetler of Lynchburg; two brothers, John (Linda) Campbell of Asheville, N.C. and Larry (Bonnie) Campbell of Waldren, Ind.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Walker; and a brother, Don Campbell.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Bob Stevens will officiate. There will be no public visitation.
