Bertha M. Dabe

Bertha M. Dabe, 83, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
  
She was born Feb. 5, 1940 in Kings Mills, the daughter of the late Amos Shown and Mary Bertha (Stegemoller) Williams. On June 22, 1962, she married Willis A. Dabe, who passed away June 25, 2009.
 
Bertha had worked for various restaurants in the area for over 35 years, and she had been a former member of Wilmington FOE #1224 Eagles Club Auxiliary.
 
Surviving are her son, Mark Anthony (Darla Graham) Dabe of Clarksville and Roger Lee (Robin Brothers) Dabe of Clarksville; daughters, Carol J. Hurt of New Vienna, Sandy E. (Mark) Nave of Hillsboro and Amy R. (Jason) Duncan of Clarksville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Jane Gross of Clarksville, Kathy (Rick) Moore of Lebanon, Karen (Steve) Moeller of Lake Orion, Mich. and Margi Williams of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Bertha was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Dabe Sholler; and brother, John Williams.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Mike McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington.
 
Friends will be received Thursday, Jan. 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
