Barb Mossbarger, 79, of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Springfield Masonic Home.

She was born Sept. 23, 1943 in Richmond, Ind., the daughter of the late Herman and Mildred Humphrey.

Barb retired from General Motors after 33 years. There she met the love of her life, Jerry Mossbarger, and they married Sept. 22, 1972, after which she would tell anyone who would listen that she was a Mossbarger.

She was an avid golfer and bowler for 50-plus years. She also enjoyed gardening, crosswords, cross stitch, crocheting and reading. In her spare time, she loved to play cards and board games with family and friends. She never met a stranger. Barb was a loving wife, mother and grandma who will be dearly missed.

Barb is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry; daughters, Tonya (Chris) Fry and Tracy (Brandon) Boyd; and grandson, whom she loved dearly, Nathaniel "Nate" Fry.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. with a service to follow at 6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
