Anthony B. 'Tony' Tetzlaff

Anthony B. “Tony” Tetzlaff, 69, of Latham, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023.

He was born Dec. 1, 1953 in Dayton, the son of the late Ben Tetzlaff and Hazel Virginia Barnett.

Tony was a 1972 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton. He was ranked 28th in the nation of the ADO in steel tip darts, was a member of the Moose Lodge #2263 in Waverly, loved gardening and canning his own food and was an avid turkey and deer hunter, making his own jerky.

Tony is survived by his wife, Pamela (Deitz) Tetzlaff, whom he married Dec. 10, 2011; daughter, Amanda Bole of Dayton; stepsons, John (Tiffany) Horton of Lucasville, Chris Horton of Shoreline, Wash. and Kenny Horton of Olga, Wash.; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Christopher Tetzlaff of Latham; mother-in-law, Ellen Deitz of Lancaster; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim (Annie) Deitz and Dave (Trudy) Deitz, both of Lancaster; special friends, John and Kathy Klein and Ben Roberts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Christine Belhasen; and beloved dog, Walter.

Services were held at the convenience of the family.
