Anna Marie Rhodes, 81, of South Salem, Ohio, died Monday, October 5, 2009 at her home.
She was born March 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Ross) Forsythe.
She retired from the U.S. Shoe Factory in Greenfield in 1988 after 30 years of service. She was a 1946 graduate of Buckskin High School.
She is survived by one sister, Opal (John) Rhodes, of Bainbridge; one niece, Phyllis Hester, of South Salem; three nephews, Bob (Joyce) Rhodes of Leesburg, Jim (Nancy) Rhodes of Greenfield, and Tom (Tammy) Rhodes of Hillsboro; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Rhodes, who died October 7, 1959; one brother, Homer Forsythe; one sister, Bessie Hester.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home of Greenfield with Rev. Robert K. Blaine officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009.
