Anna Evans Masterson
Anna Evans Masterson, 80, of Anderson, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at the Florentine Gardens in Loveland.
Anna was born on April 18, 1944 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Teboe) Ross.
Anna worked as a Realtor for many years, and she was a member of the Fall Creek Friends Church. Anna previously attended the Mt. Moriah Methodist Church in Cincinnati, but recently she was attending the Anderson Hills Methodist Church. Anna was a woman of strong character, a go-getter who enthusiastically faced every challenge life threw her way. She was known for her determination and tenacity, traits she maintained up until her last moments.
As family and friends mourn the loss of Anna, they also celebrate a life well-lived. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and her memory will continue to inspire and guide them. Her legacy of love, family and determination will forever be etched in their hearts.
Anna is survived by her son, Bradley E. Morris of Milford; four stepchildren, Robert Masterson of Minnesota, Steve (Yanett) Masterson of Morrow, Rebecca Masterson of London, England and Carrie (Erick) Johnson of Liberty Township; four stepgrandchildren; a close friend, Allen Schmidt; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger K. Morris and Robert A. Masterson; a brother, Harold Ross; and two sisters, Ruth Ross Cowgill and Helen Ross (Richard “Dick”) Behm.
Graveside services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Anna’s name to the Fall Creek Friends Church, 11345 Karnes Road, Hillsboro 45133. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
