Anna (Drake) Horner

Anna (Drake) Horner, 94, of Bellbrook, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2024 at home with her family by her side.  
 
She was born Nov. 17, 1929 in Melvin, the daughter of the late James Maynard Drake and Nellie Dell Smaltz Drake.
 
Anna was a member of the Wilmington Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness for 64 years and was a graduate of Reesville High School class of 1947.
 
Surviving are two daughters, Dianne Masters and Denise (David) Nadler; granddaughter, Lindsay (Tyler) Boggs; and two great-grandchildren, Walker and Faye.
 
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Horner, on Feb. 11, 1996; a son-in-law, Roy Masters; and seven brothers and sisters.
 
Services will be held at the convenience of the family Thursday, April 11, 2024. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
