Ann Turner

Ann Turner, 78, of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

She was born May 28, 1944 in Highland County, the daughter of the late George E. and Emma Margaret (Hopkins) Newkirk.

Ann is survived by her husband, Paul Turner, whom she married July 7, 1962; son, Eddie (Suzanne) Turner of Elmville; daughter, Barbara (Michael) Sandlin of Elmville; three grandchildren; Stephanie (Will) Downey of Sinking Spring, Taylor (Shane) Ott of Blanchester and Brooke (Ethan) Cadwallader of Hillsboro; four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Molly Stephens, Kinsley Ott and Colton Cadwallader; and special friend (Dog), Woo Woo "Allee.”

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jared Sandlin; and brother, Charles E "Sambo" Newkirk.

Services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Friends may call Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union.
