Angela “Angie” LaVan
Angela “Angie” LaVan, 54, of Charleston, W.Va., formerly of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully, Saturday March 8, 2025 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
Angie was born Dec. 7, 1970, in Wilmington, the daughter of David Fritz and Linda (Alley) Wallingford.
Angie was a 1989 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She worked at ResCare in Hillsboro and as a home health aide for several years. She enjoyed the outdoors, sightseeing, traveling, hiking trails but not before having her morning coffee. She was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed the opportunity to cheer for her favorite football team. Above all she loved her family and children.
Angie is survived by her mother, Linda Wallingford of Hillsboro; three children, Austin Ryan Fritz LaVan of Charleston, W.Va., Alley Nikol (Rikki) Burford of Charleston, W.Va. and Logan David LaVan of New Brighton, Pa.; three siblings, David Fritz of Richmond, Ind., Brandy Dawson of Greenfield, and Dawn (Eric) Johnson of Danville, Ill; her grand-dog, Izzie; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, David Fritz; and stepfather, David Wallingford.
