Amanda Laura 'Candy' Kinnison Kellis

Amanda Laura “Candy” Kinnison Kellis, 75, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at University of Cincinnati Hospital.
 
She was born April 30, 1947 in Rainsboro, the daughter of Elmer and Georgianna (Gilpin) Kinnison.
 
She was formerly employed at Collins Meat Packing until 1983 when she began in-home foster care. She enjoyed gardening.
 
She is survived by three daughters, Karla (Todd) Campbell of Sabina and Jamie Greene and Erin (Richard) Quigley, both of Leesburg; two special daughters, Connie Drake and Marlene Haberle, both of Greenfield; seven grandchildren, Joshua Dettwiller, Chase (Candice) Dettwiller, Austin Greene, Hannah Greene, Trevor (Brittany) Quigley, Caleb (Kayla) Quigley and MaKynna; 13 great-grandchildren; six sisters-in-law, Pam Hidy, Carol Young, Diana Knisley, Rebecca Robinson, Debbie Lyons and Brenda King; three brothers-in-law, Jeff Murphy, Charles Murphy and Kenny Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Gary Pettit and Lisa Sluder.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Kellis, on Jan. 13, 2018; three daughters, Helen Rose, Teresa Frasure and Grace Pagen; three sisters-in-law, Linda Shanks, Chloe Anderson and Bev Mess; special sister-in-law, Evelyn Murphy; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Cremation will follow.
 
Visitation will be Monday from 4-6 p.m. at the church.
