Wilmington Post investigating fatal crash

Wilmington – The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a single vehicle crash that involved one fatality. The crash occurred on Sept. 30 at approximately 10:30 p.m. on state Route 73 southeast of S.R. 350 in Green Township, Clinton County.
 
The preliminary investigation showed a 2004 Lincoln Town Car, operated by Joyce Gwinn, 82, of Kettering, was traveling southeast on State Route 73. The Lincoln Town Car traveled off the left side of the roadway striking landscape rocks and a tree. Ms. Gwinn was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by Clinton – Highland Joint Fire District, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Clinton County Coroner’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
