Christmas in the Country is a yearly event featuring five artistic friends who worked hard to make this a special weekend for the holiday shopper.

A short driving tour through the beautiful countryside will bring you to each of these working studios where you can visit and peruse their special wares.


[[In-content Ad]]• Kara Juillerat creates her own line of unique fused glass jewelry which includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. You can also purchase that special necklace to showcase your individual piece of fused glass. She is located at 12674 Mound Road, Winchester, Ohio. 

• Cabin Creek Primitives, 1632 S. Taylorsville Road, Hillsboro. David and Donna Stafford create primitive wood cabinets, benches lamps, treenware and have other items to make your holiday special.

• Dave's Welding and Custom Wrought Iron, 5320 Sorg Road, Hillsboro. Dave Waller creates handmade barn stars from 6 to 72 inches, unusual metal artwork, handmade craft items and hand painted pictures.

• Echo Valley Pottery, 4909 Carr Road, Hillsboro. Brenda Bradds specializes in hand painted pottery which is food, oven and microwave safe. Lots of Americana, one-of-a-kind pieces, mini-lamps and specialty Christmas ornaments.

All studios and shops will be open Nov. 14-15 from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Nov. 16 from 1-5 p.m.
